Abstract
The diffusion‐in‐gel enzyme‐linked immunosorbent assay (DIG‐ELISA) was used to study the specific IgG, IgA and IgM serum antibody response in rabbits immunized with freeze‐pressed cells of Aspergillus fumigatus or Candida albicans. Compared to the conventional double‐diffusion‐in‐gel technique the DIG‐ELISA was found to be more sensitive and equally specific.
