Diffusion of Recycling Technology of Maize Crop Residuals into Organic Fertilizer in Some Villages in Ismailia Governorate

Abstract

Study aimed to : determine diffusion level of recycling technology ofMaize Crop Residuals into organic fertilizer among farmer respondents, alsodetermine their listening sources about this technology , determine the correlationrelationship between diffusion degree of recycling technology of Maize Crop < br />Residuals into organic fertilizer and some of the studied independent variables , as well as to identify the obstacles which face respondents in diffusion of recyclingtechnology of Maize crop residuals into organic fertilizer.The study was carried out in Ismailia Governorate on a simple randomsample amounted 340 farmers representative 11.72% of the total study populationin three villages i.e.: Abou Sweer EL-Mahatta , EL-Rouda and EL-Mahsmah ElQademah which were selected from districts of Abou Sweer, EL-Qantra Gharband EL-Qassasseen respectively (both districts and villages were chosenaccording criterion of area cultivated with maize crop) .Data were collectedthrough personal interview questionnaire during April and May 2014 ,arithmeticmeans ,and simple correlation coefficient were used to analyze data statistically,in addition to frequencies and percentages for showing the results.
