Abstract

AbstractThe weight‐loss method was employed to determine the diffusion coeffcients of mercury in Ag2Hg3 alloy at temperatures in the range of 64–120°C. Diffusion coeffcients for nonhomogeneous specimens obey the relationship: Diffusion coeffcients for nonhomogeneous samples were found to be an order of magnitude greater than values found for homogeneous samples.
