Abstract

ABSTRACTThe authors of present research have used in experiments the atomic hydrogen and metallic foil 25–30 jim thick. It have been supposed that these technical operations will permit to exclude the influence of surface and diffusional processes on the rate of Me-H interaction. The series of experiments have been carried out and they confirm this assumption. It have been shown that hydrogenation reaction of zirconium foil in atomic hydrogen conform to the topochemical model of volume segregation of interaction product and the rate of its flow is independent of the surface processes and hydrogen diffusion in volume.
