Abstract

The chapter covers the structural features and physical properties of ferroelectric ceramics solid solutions based on lead zirconate-titanate with an abnormally strong diffuse ferroelectric phase transition . It is found out that in the solid solution in a wide range of temperature the relaxor-like non-paraelectric cubic phase coexists along with the ferroelectric tetragonal, and rhombohedral phases. Discussion of the experimental results is based on the existence of glass-dipole state in the solid solutions that is typical for compounds like lead magno-niobate.
