Abstract

AbstractThe diffusion of electron—hole drops and of excitons has been investigated in pure and doped germanium. It was found that the diffusion lengths depend on doping level, temperature, and excitation intensity. Qualitative explanations of the results based on simultaneous motion of excitons and electron—hole drops are presented.
