Abstract
Heteroionic forms of a synthetic analcime have been prepared containing varying proportions of sodium and potassium. Self-exchange diffusion parameters for Na, K and H 2O have been measured radiochemically for each form. The parameters have been used to calculate energies and entropies for the self-diffusion processes observed. The results have been interpreted in terms of the unusual channel structure of the analcime framework
