Abstract

The diffusion coefficients of sodium chlorate and lithium chlorate in water have been determined, using the Stokes' diaphragm technique. The diffusion coefficients of the solutions have been treated by the extended Hartley–Crank analysis to obtain hydration numbers for the electrolytes.
