Abstract

hydrogen embrittlement of steels is a wide phenomenon that induces a severe economic damage and sometimes even cost of life. Even though there are some suggested mechanisms for this phenomenon, it is not yet possible to predict the time to failure of a component serving under hydrogen presence conditions.
