Abstract
A set of problems on the diffraction of elastic surface waves of vertical polarization (SV-waves) on the line of jump of elastic parameters is under consideration. Expressions for reflected and transmitted wave fields are obtained by means of the parabolic equation method. The corresponding transformation coefficients are found for the reflection and transmission. Bibliography: 7 titles.
