Abstract

The field of a plane wave diffracted by two parallel, thin, highly conducting sheets, equivalent to semi-infinite planes, has been measured close to the diffracting edges for various spacings between the sheets. For one spacing, experimental results are compared with values derived from the theory of Clemmow for two parallel, infinitely thin, perfectly conducting half-planes.
