Abstract
We solve the problem of diffraction of normal waves propagating in an elastic layer rigidly connected with interface on an interface crack under the action of antiplane dynamic loading. By the Wiener–Hopf method, the problem is reduced to the solution of an infinite system of linear algebraic equations. The eigenvalues of the operator of the problem corresponding to the resonance vibrations of the dynamic system on the main mode are investigated. Examples of the resonance frequencies of some structures with interface defects are presented.
