Abstract

The Wiener–Hopf method (the Jones variant) is used to solve the problem of diffraction of a plane electromagnetic wave incident normally on the perfectly conducting half-plane located at the vacuum–anti-vacuum interface. Exact analytical solutions comprising the Fresnel integrals are derived for vertical and horizontal polarization states.
