Abstract
Questions of the adjustment of a diffraction grating neutron interferometer are considered. An aberration analysis of wavefronts propagating in this interferometer is carried out. It allows us to evaluate the requirements concerning the parallelism of the grating planes and the equality of the interferometer arms. A method for the mutual parallel alignment of the grating strips by a position-sensitive photodiode is suggested.
