Abstract
Uniform asymptotic physical optics diffraction coefficients for a non-penetrable wedge with anisotropic impedance faces illuminated at oblique incidence are given. Each face is characterized by suitable anisotropic impedance boundary conditions and the corresponding principal axes of anisotropy cannot be coincident with the edge. The proposed expressions of the diffraction coefficients are obtained by using a physical optics approximation of the equivalent surface current densities on the faces of the wedge and by performing a uniform asymptotic evaluation of the radiation integral. The presence of surface waves is neglected.
