Abstract

ABSTRACTUsing the duality transformation introduced by Lindell and Sihvola, transformations have been applied to transform the diffracted fields from a perfectly electric conducting (PEC) half plane to perfect electromagnetic conductor (PEMC) half plane. PEMC materials behave like PEC when M = ±∞ and behave like perfect magnetic conductor (PMC) when M = 0. In this way, PEC and PMC are the limiting cases of PEMC. The numerical results obtained from the analytical solution have been discussed and compared with the available research literature.
