Abstract

Our study highlights the potential of speech recognition difficulty under noisy environment as a robust behavioral marker for detecting ADHD. Specifically, speech recognition difficulty under speech masker, rather than under noise masker, serves as a more effective indicator for detecting ADHD. Speech-on-speech recognition difficulty is correlated to various symptoms of ADHD, including the most commonly used scales of SNAP-IV and CPRS.
