Abstract
It is necessary to replace the present generalized tolerances by new differentiated tolerances which should be divided into: limiting calibration errors for horizontal cylindrical tanks with respect to their diameter and the height of the liquid in them; the data for these tolerances are contained in Table 1; limiting errors in measuring the content of oil products in tanks with respect to their diameter and the height of the liquid in them; the data for these errors are given in Table 3.
