Abstract

In the current review paper the efforts are been made to showcase the difference in Mechanical Properties of the Metal Joining Process occurring through FCW, FSW and FSP. The main objective of the current finding is to highlight the important work carried out by several researchers in the field of experimental characterization of different metal joining process with different material properties. The implementation of homogeneous and heterogeneous material joined through FCW, FSW and FSP. Here, FCW was used disc tool with shoulder on flanged work piece or specimen. In this welding process, rotating disc transverse moves along the work piece. FSW has profiled as cylindrical shouldered tool with pin at higher speed and entered into joint area on single V-joint, double V-joint and butt joint. Frictional heat reasons the metal soften without melting. Then rotating tool transverse along joint line, transferring the soften material around itself as it moves. FSP is similar as FSW, but minor change in FSP i.e. nano- particle of powder added at welding process. Therefore, this cause was enhanced the mechanical properties of welded specimen. Here mechanical properties were observed in all welding process i.e. (tensile strength, hardness, impact strength or micro-structural properties) of welding specimen. And researcher is also inspected all weld work piece hardness and strength. Mechanical properties of FCW are better than FSW and FSP. There are many factors affect the all welding process.
