Abstract
A commercial differential scanning calorimeter has been modified to yield heat capacity data which appear to be accurate to within ±2% or better. Using this instrument the constant pressure heat capacities of Au, 350 to 750 K, and CuF 2, 330 to 710K, have been determined. Values of C̃° p and H̃° T - H̃° 298 to 1000 K are presented for CuF 2.
