Abstract

The 1PI quark-soft gluon and hard gluon-soft gluon scattering amplitudes of QCD develop singularities in a general gauge as the momenta of the soft gluons vanish with the momenta of the quarks or the hard gluons kept at some off-shell point. I show that such singularities are absent in the axial gauge, so that differential identities, much like the original Ward Identities in QED, are valid.
