Abstract
AbstractAs we have said more than once, this chapter is intended to serve as a rapid and noncomprehensive introduction to differential geometry, basically in the format of a “glossary of terms. ” Most will be familiar to those who have taken a couple courses in differential geometry, and hopefully informative enough to allow the uninitiated1 to follow the calculations in later chapters.
