Abstract

This paper is devoted to the search for optimal weight and size parameters of the “power supply - electric motor” system in industrial vehicles. The mathematical formulas describing the differential electric drive based on the simplest planetary gearbox are given. The schemes of parallel and serial connection of differential electric drives are considered. The methods of searching for the optimal laws of control of a differential electric drive based on DC motors are shown. The natural mechanical characteristics of a serial connection of a differential electric drive, as well as its adjusting and artificial mechanical characteristics, are given.
