Abstract

The differential cross-section for the T(12C,T)12C elastic recoil reaction was measured at a laboratory angle of 30° and over an incident energy range from 5.2 to 12.2 MeV. A thin solid target Ni/TiTx/Al2O3 was prepared by the conventional hydrogenation method. The relative determination method for cross-section measurement was employed to avoid uncertainty in solid angle and number of incident ions, so that the uncertainty in the cross-section is less than 5.8%.
