Abstract

We consider linear and nonlinear operation regimes of a spin-torque microwave detector (STMD) realized at different values of an input microwave power. We show that STMD performs as a quadratic detector at small values of input microwave power, while at the higher levels of power it performs as a linear detector. Obtained results might be useful for the development and optimization of microwave devices based on STMD.
