Abstract
Die Erweiterung des genetischen Codes eröffnet Zugänge zur Modulation von Proteinfunktionen in Echtzeit. Nach Einbau von photoreaktivem Phenylazid in Grün fluoreszierendes Protein (GFP) lassen sich dessen Fluoreszenzeigenschaften mithilfe von Licht modulieren. Je nachdem, welcher Aminosäurerest im GFP für den Einbau des Phenylazids programmiert wurde, werden unterschiedliche Effekte auf die Proteinfunktion und die photochemischen Reaktionswege beobachtet.
