Difference scheme of second order of accuracy for the axisymmetric poisson equation in generalized solutions

Abstract

Taking the Dirichlet problem for the axisymmetric Poisson equation in a rectangle with solution belonging to W 2 2, a difference scheme is constructed in a special non-uniform mesh by means of the operators of exact difference schemes. It is shown that our scheme has second order of accuracy in the mesh norm of L 2.
