Abstract

The purpose of this article is to attempt to reconstruct Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s concept of “religionless Christianity” (religionsloses Christentum) through a holistic approach to his thinking that goes beyond the limited perspective of his deathbed notes and prison letters. In my reflection, I will consider Bonhoeffer’s deconstruction of the idea of God and attempt to explain what the concepts of “religion” and “Christianity” meant to him.
