Abstract

The purpose of this article was to assess the role of Oxalobacter formigenes (O formigenes) on the intestinal absorption, plasma concentration, and urinary excretion of oxalate in calcium oxalate stone formers and to better understand oxalate metabolism in the presence or absence of this bacterial species.
