Abstract

Reduction of dietary oxalate intake is central to the clinical management of nephrolithiasis. There are many sources available with information containing oxalate values of foods that patients can access. These include published tables and online databases that provide oxalate content of common and ethnic foods. Access to these resources allows patients to identify foods with high or low oxalate content and to assist with making appropriate dietary modifications.
