Abstract

With the rapid development of flexible wearable devices, more requirements such as excellent mechanical property and flexibility have been put forward for dielectric materials. Herein, a dielectric boron nitride nanosheets filled polyurethane (BNNS/PU) nanocomposite with self-healing property was prepared by in-situ polymerization based on Diels-Alder (DA) reaction. The material not only possesses an enhanced dielectric performance but also exhibits excellent mechanical properties and flexibility. More importantly, a good self-healing property was achieved under a mild ambient temperature. This work provides a simple method to synthesize a self-healing dielectric nanocomposites which shows potential applications in various electronic devices.
