Abstract

This study presents the dielectric characteristics of CaCu3Ti4O12. The X-ray diffraction analysis confirmed that the tested sample has a single-phase structure. The shape of the grains underwent significant variation with changes in sintering temperature. The actual permittivity undergoes an increase from 500 to 104 as the sintering temperature rises. The observed variations in dielectric characteristics of the samples (both in terms of real and imaginary components) can primarily be attributed to the presence of grains and grain boundaries.
