Abstract
ABSTRACT Dielectric permittivity and loss spectra of 1-methylimidazole (MeIm) have been measured over the frequency range from 100 MHz to 20 GHz at 298–336 K using an open-ended coaxial probe technique. Dielectric parameters are described by the Davidson–Cole model. The shape parameter shows temperature-independence. The Kirkwood correlation factor (g), enthalpy, entropy and the activation energy of molecular reorientation of MeIm also have been calculated.
