Abstract
SUMMARYDieldrin was applied topically, in microdrops of 2‐ethoxy‐ethanol, to adult onion flies from a laboratory‐bred susceptible strain and six field populations suspected of being resistant. Dieldrin resistance was confirmed in onion flies from Bedfordshire and Norfolk in 1969.
