Abstract
In the following article ‘The future of regional newspapers in South Africa’ is investigated, by determining what the future holds for regional papers, but also what the role can be of regional newspapers in a future South Africa. This is done against the background of a discussion on the new social, economic, juridical and administrative order which is currently taking on form in the South African society.
