Abstract

The species of the genera Enoicyla Ramb. are the only known European species of Trichoptera with a complete terrestrial life cycle. The distribution of the species in Europe is described. E. pusilla Burm. and E. reichenbachi Kol. are distributed in Middle Europe. Many confusions and misidentifications resulted in the past, since it had been unable to separate the larvae of both species. We have associated the larvae of the two species. The different features of the fully grown larvae are described and figured for the first time.
