Abstract

Munich is one of the most historical cities in Germany. In the course of a project funded by the Robert Bosch Foundation, students discover the historical roots of the city. This essay shows how students explore the urban region and which methods of historical learning they use. Taking the example of the "Königsplatz" in Munich, young researchers compiled a collected volume about the various historical periods which can still be found at this square.
