Abstract

In Focusing and the experiential concept of change, the Felt Sense plays a specific role. This seems to be relevant for coaching, considering neuroscientific findings and the demand to include affective and body-related aspects in coaching. Within the framework of an explorative study, the author developed a change model related to coaching, starting with trilemma situations in the sense of a tension between situational reference and contradictory parts of affective-cognitive perception. Taken this as a basis, Experiencing and the Felt Sense can be used as a resource for a topic-related clarification and solution process.
