Abstract

The essay delineates the profile of a specifically Christian eschatology of the cross, analyzes the ontological relationship of time and eternity, describes the necessity of eschatology as required by faith as communion with God, and discusses the alternative of αποκαταστασις παντων and eternal judgment. The concluding passage deals with the certainty of hope.
