Abstract

Summary On the base of collections made by the late Dr. P. Wendelbo, a flora of the Kuh-e Genou (Kuhha ye Genu) mountain ist compiled. A comparison of this flora with that of Jabal Akbar (Oman) reveals strong connections with the Nubo-Sindic floristic province (sensu Zohary). Some remarkable species are discussed more in detail. Pterocephalus wendelboi (Dipsacaceae) and Silene sciaphila are described as species novae (Editor’s summary).
