»Die Boje« – das Wiener Ambulatorium für Kinder und Jugendliche in Krisensituationen

Abstract

This is a contribution to the history of the association ÖVIP and the institutional history of the BOJE, the Outpatient Clinic for Children and Adolescents in Crisis in Vienna. It traces about 30 years in which an idea first grew and then was realized. 20 years after the official opening of the Outpatient Clinic we want to look at the development of this institution from our subjective point of view. This view is supported by the many records, minutes and documents that have accumulated over time. In doing so, we have proceeded primarily chronologically. Beginning with the first considerations, the preparations and over the foundation phase up to the individual phases of the consolidation and the deep anchorage in the psychosocial landscape in Vienna of the 20’s of the 21st century.
