Abstract

Summary The importance of systemic aspects for social councelling for homeless people The author first describes the systemic concept of homelessness. Afterwards she describes the helping-structures for homeless people and makes some critical comments. She figures out the actual situation of social work in a helping-structure, where each subsystem rather works for itself than with each other. A study of the year 2009, in which the success of social work for homeless people within § 67 ff SGB XII was examined, was used as basic information. Then the author gives an example of a systemic approach for councelling for a homeless man who suffered from psychic diseases and lived in an organization with social service. In a postscriptum some basic assumptions for the success of social work for homeless people within the helping-structure of § 67 ff SGB XII are denominated.
