Abstract
The analysis of the AEP is based on the definition and identification of single AEP components which are parametriced. An objective automatic procedure for the identification of AEP components has been developed. This method is based on some assumptions about the structure of the AEP: the components are half waves that reach from one base line crossing to the next one (Fig. 2) and have a general and stable sequential order which allows for their discrimination by means of an area criterion.
