Abstract
Three students at Indiana University, Bloomington decided to pledge Beta Theta Pi fraternity. The students, like all students at the university, were required to carry a university identification card as a condition of their attendance. The identification card tracked every time they entered or used a university facility, including residence hall rooms, elevators, and residence hall common areas. It also tracked other swipe data, such as library book checkouts, parking garage/meter access, meal purchases at dining halls, and more.
