Abstract
Sage Valmiki in his epic Ramayana had given the statuses of various planetary positions, lagna and birth star of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram, but he did not mention his life span. We used ‘Gopuramsa’ and ‘Paravatamsa’ of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram based on Brihat Parasara Hora Sastra and concluded that he had a full life and lived till end of the Treta Yuga.
