Abstract
Jacob Doe and Jenna Roe were Virginia Tech students. After a verbal altercation between the two, Roe accused Doe of assault and battery and trespassing. The university informed him in March 2018 he faced seven different charges stemming from Roe, including three “relating to sexual assault.” However, the notice contained no information about the specific incidents or allegations being investigated. Doe claimed the investigator interviewed multiple witnesses for Roe but neglected to interview witnesses identified by Doe.
