Abstract
A graduate student in the Slippery Rock University physician assistant program was placed at the Wellington Retreat in Florida for her first clinical rotation. The student handbook for the program outlined the university's policies and procedures, including the grounds for dismissal. It stated a student could be dismissed from the program based upon inappropriate behavior or unprofessional conduct at a clinical site.
