Abstract

The cerimetric determination of thallium(I) has been reinvestigated. A new procedure for the potentiometric titration of thallium(I) with ceric sulphate at the room temperature and at a low concentration of hydrochloric acid (1.0 N) has been developed using iodine monochloride as catalyst.
