Abstract
The asymmetric unit of the title compound, [CoCl2(C10H9N3S)2], contains one half-molecule with the CoII atom situtated on a twofold rotational axis. The CoII atom, in an octahedral enviroment, is coordinated by four N atoms from two 2-methylsulfanyl-4-(pyridin-2-yl)pyrimidine ligands and two Cl atoms.
