Abstract

In the title complex, [CuBr2(C10H8N4S)2], the CuII atom is located on an inversion centre and displays a distorted square-planar coordination geometry. The dihedral angle between the fused-ring system and its phenyl substituent is 2.1 (3)°. Intermolecular C—H⋯Br hydrogen bonds and π–π contacts [with an interplanar separation of 3.513 (3) A] form a supramolecular network structure.
